Ergothioneine(EGT) is a structurally stable small molecule amino acid, mainly derived from ergot fungi. EGT can not be directly synthesized by humans themselves, but can only be obtained through diet, such as edible fungi boletus, pleurotus griseus, shiitake mushroom, pleurotus eryngii, ericius mushroom, etc. Because of its strong antioxidant capacity and anti-inflammatory activity, it is considered to be a class of "longevity vitamins", which has a good effect on biological survival and even delaying aging.
