α-Bisabolol is one of the important monocyclic sesquiterpenes, derived naturally from essential oils of many edible and ornamental plants. Numerous experimental studies demonstrated pharmacological properties of α-Bisabolol including anticancer, antinociceptive, neuroprotective, cardioprotective, and antimicrobial. Due to the calming effects bisabolol can have on the skin, it can reduce redness and irritation, helping individuals who suffer from rosacea, rashes, and more. It can also help reduce discomfort after a sunburn. Mechanism
Applied topically, Alpha-Bisabolol inhibits inflammation mediator molecules action such as Interleukin IL-1α and Leukotriene LB4, soothing skin irritation and exposing a healthy-looking, calm, and beautiful appearance.

■ Solubility: virtually insoluble in glycerol and water
■ Recommended Usage: 0.2~1%
■ Recommended pH: 4.0-8.0
