Ceramide AP (INCI: Ceramide AP, CAS: 212070-45-6) is a high-purity, off-white powder. With a purity of ≥95%, it is a key component of the stratum corneum lipids, accounting for approximately 8.8% of total ceramides. It is widely used in skincare formulations for its dual functions of enhancing skin hydration and promoting normal keratinocyte turnover, resulting in smoother, softer, and more resilient skin.
