Vanillin has the aroma of vanillin bean and strong milk aroma, is one of the world's most productive synthetic spice varieties, and is widely used in cosmetics, foods, household-chemicals, medicines and other industries.

35,000 MT of vanillin was consumed in the world and more than 80% was made from crude oil sources, but this synthetic process also produces toxic byproducts.

40,000 vanilla orchids can produce 50kg of vanilla orchids beans, but the yield of natural vanillin is only 1kg. Vanilla Orchids are painstakingly difficult to farm, and crop yields and quality are unpredictable.

To make vanillin sustainable, environmentally and economically, BrightGene is using bio-synthetic & AI to create green chemical processes and a circular economy.

Vanillin can be divided into natural vanillin and synthetic vanillin according to the production method. What we produce is natural BrightGenix™Vanillin.
