Mechanism
Expression lines are caused by muscle contraction. When muscles receive neurotransmitters released from motor neuron vesicles, they contract. The neurotransmitter during muscle contraction is acetylcholine, which is released from the vesicles into the synapse. The formation of SNARE protein (composed of three parts: VAMP, Syntaxin, SNAP-25) is a necessary condition for the final step of cell secretion for the release of neurotransmitters. This protein is similar to a cell hook that grabs the vesicles and brings them to the cell membrane to form a fusion.
The structure of acetyl hexapeptide-8 is similar to SNAP-25. By competing with SNAP-25 to occupy the position of SNAP-25 in the SNARE complex, it inhibits the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, affects the conduction of skin vesicles, and blocks the conduction of muscle contraction messages. Therefore, it can reduce muscle contraction, thereby reducing the generation of dynamic lines and expression lines.
